Gildardo Gutierrez Mendez -(Born in Guadalajara in March 15, 1982). Mexican Business Activist and Entrepreneur. Promoter of the Mexican causes both in Mexico and the United States. He serves in the Board of Educational Foundations and Institutions; he has actively promoted international education agreements and foreign direct investment in Mexico. Founder of a number of companies, he advises to Board of Director on a number of them.He is the founder of the Asociacion de EmpresariosMexicanos (AEM) in Washington DC. He has promoted the change of the Mexico narrative in the United States,focusing on "building bridges" between the two countries. He has done this through the collaboration with public and private sectors. Gutierrez is the author of FuturoEducativoDistritos (2013) –Educational Future: School Districts- in which he makes the case for education system decentralization in Mexico, parent involvement in school activities and school district implementation. The book "Distritos" has been presented in several academic institutions and think tanks in Mexico and the United States, including the Brookings Institution.
